Rules and Regulations – Bihar Ideal Singing Talent Hunt
To ensure fairness, transparency and a smooth experience for all participants, Bihar Ideal follows a clear set of rules and regulations. Please read the following carefully before registering for the competition.
1. Eligibility Criteria:
- The competition is open to all residents of Bihar aged 15 years and above.
- Participants must be Indian citizens and provide valid identity proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.) during registration.
- Both amateur and semi-professional singers are allowed; however, participants who have previously signed a commercial recording contract with a major label are not eligible.
2. Registration Process:
- Interested participants can register online through our official website or in person at our local audition centers.
- A registration fee may apply and must be paid at the time of form submission.
- Incomplete or false applications will lead to immediate disqualification.
3. Auditions:
- Initial auditions will be held at selected venues across Bihar. Dates and venues will be announced on our website and social media platforms.
- Online auditions will also be accepted through uploaded video entries, following the given guidelines (duration, file size, format, etc.).
- Participants must sing live, without auto-tune or lip-syncing. Background music or karaoke tracks are allowed, but should not overpower the vocals.
4. Selection & Shortlisting:
- Participants will be shortlisted based on voice quality, pitch, rhythm, expression, and stage presence.
- The decision of the judges during auditions and all other rounds will be final and binding. No objections or appeals will be entertained.
5. Training & Mentorship:
- Selected contestants will undergo professional training with music experts appointed by the Bihar Ideal team.
- Participation in training sessions is mandatory for moving forward in the competition.
- Contestants must be punctual, disciplined, and cooperative throughout the training phase.
6. Performance Rounds:
- All shortlisted participants will perform live during different rounds, which may include themes like folk songs, Bollywood hits, classical renditions, and original compositions.
- Performances will be judged on technical skill, emotional delivery, stage confidence, and audience engagement.
- Separate performance categories will be maintained for male and female contestants to ensure fair competition.
7. Code of Conduct:
- Participants must maintain respectful behavior towards fellow contestants, mentors, organizers, and staff at all times.
- Use of offensive language, inappropriate behavior, or any form of misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.
- Substance abuse or arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be tolerated.
8. Rights & Media:
- By participating, contestants grant Bihar Ideal the right to use their name, image, and performance videos for promotional purposes.
- All recorded content during the competition becomes the property of Bihar Ideal and may be used in TV broadcasts, social media, or marketing material.
9. Prizes & Opportunities:
- Winners (1 male and 1 female) will receive cash prizes, recording opportunities, and public performance deals.
- Runners-up and other top performers may also receive recognition and collaboration offers.
10. Changes & Updates:
- Bihar Ideal reserves the right to change rules, schedules, or judging criteria if necessary. All updates will be communicated on our official platforms.
