Welcome to Bihar Ideal, the heart of musical talent in Bihar! We've been around since 2007, all about finding and helping great singers from every corner of our state. As a group that loves music and wants to keep Bihar's culture alive, we've built a big following with our yearly BIHAR IDEAL singing contest. It took a break during the COVID times, but we're back strong and going strong right up to 2025.
We think music brings everyone together, no matter where they're from. It all started when a few music fans and culture lovers wanted to give young singers a real chance to show what they can do. We mix old folk tunes from Bihar with new songs and we make sure both guys and girls get a fair shot. Over the years, thousands of people from places like Patna, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sheohar, Begusarai, Motihari and Bhagalpur have joined in. It's not just a contest it's a way to build confidence and bring the community together through song.
What makes our event special is how we guide everyone along the way. First, we announce the show everywhere on social media, in newspapers and through local groups so singers from all over Bihar know about it. Then, it's time for auditions. You can sign up online or in person, and it's open to anyone with a voice and passion. Our judges pick the best ones, and those lucky folks get a list of songs to practice with. It's a mix of traditional Bihari music, popular Bollywood tracks, and some fresh ideas to help you prepare.
We go further by offering training and advice from pros. Think of it as one-on-one lessons with experienced singers and coaches who teach you how to control your voice, own the stage, and really connect with the crowd. This part turns good singers into amazing ones. The big moment is the live shows, where everyone performs on a real stage with lights, great sound, and cheering fans. We keep it fair by having separate groups for men and women. It's exciting but supportive, so you can shine without too much pressure.
At the end, we announce the winners—one for the guys and one for the girls. They get prizes like money, chances to record music, and even spots on bigger stages around the country. Many past winners have made it big on TV or with their own albums, showing how this can change lives.
Bihar Ideal is like a big family. We push for more women in music, keep local languages and stories alive through songs, and work with artists from the area. Looking ahead, we're adding online auditions, classes in far-off villages, and team-ups with music schools to reach even more people.
