Based in Patna, he is known for his powerful voice, deep understanding of ragas, and commitment to promoting music education.
He has trained hundreds of students through his music institute and has been honored by multiple cultural institutions for his lifelong service to Indian music. As a judge, he brings discipline, depth, and a nurturing approach to every participant.

Known for his soft-spoken nature and strong mentorship, Ustad Amir believes in discovering the soul behind every voice. His feedback is both constructive and inspiring, helping singers grow through every round of the competition.
